The Ceylon Association of Neonatologists (CAN) is the premiere neonatal organization in Sri Lanka that is dedicated to promoting the best neonatal care in the country.

We provide optimal care for neonates, with the help of expert opinions from other specialties and services, all with the goal of improving neonatal care for preterm and sick newborns. Our vision is to give every baby the best start in life.

Through our various activities, we strive to strengthen our services and reduce perinatal, neonatal and infant morbidity and mortality. We also work towards providing the best possible treatment, care and support to improve the long-term health of preterm infants and sick newborns.
